This is a
short guide to the ports and marinas in Sardinia and the facilities they offer. It is not an
extensive guide and certainly is no replacement for a good port guide. We hope that this guide
will interest people who wish to sail to Sardinia or those thinking of coming here and hiring a
boat.

We would like to remind all sailors and visitors to Sardinia that although our sea is beautiful
and generally calm it can change quickly and with out warning. This is especially so off the
west coast which is subject to very strong winds.
We would also like to remind all visitors that our sea is used extensively by swimmers and
divers and it is essential to respect their rights and to keep the correct distance from the shore.
